Yearling buyers seeking a filly with genuine residual value will no doubt be looking closely at Lot 265, Cambridge Stud's Pins filly from their great 'Eight Carat Family'.
The filly is from Special Diamond (by Zabeel), herself a sister to the Gr.1 winner Don Eduardo and three-quarter sister to four other Gr.1 winners, namely Octagonal, Mouawad, Shower of Roses and Tristalove.

The sire Pins continues to be one of New Zealand's very best stallions. He was second on the Premiership in 2011; third in 2012; fourth in 2013 and this season currently sits in fifth position.
In all Pins has sired 527 individual winners, 54 of which are black type winners, with the Group One tally numbering 6.
