Filly sparkles at Avondale17 Oct 2019

Cambridge Stud graduate Diamonds Galore has made an encouraging start to her career and she looks a filly to follow through the spring.
Trained by Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman, the Tavistock filly was runner-up on debut and had no trouble going one better at Avondale yesterday.
She sat back on the fence and once rider Matthew Cameron pushed her into the clear with 200 metres to run the race was won.
Diamonds Galore let down strongly to win going away and she appeals as a black type contender in waiting.
The filly was a $145,000 Karaka purchase for The Sunlight Trust and is out of the O’Reilly mare Too Many Diamonds.
A half-sister to the Gr.3 Red Anchor Stakes winner Royal Asscher, she is also the dam of the Gr.2 Rich Hill Mile winer Ruud Not Too.
It’s a deep pedigree and under the fourth dam is the dual Australian Group One winner Diamond Shower. Filly sparkles at Avondale
