Five Winners On Board For One Cool Cat

3 May 2008

One Cool Cat's flying start to the European racing season with his two-year-olds has continued with his fifth individual winner (from only 14 individual starters) being landed when
Diglett won over 1000 metres at Rome in Italy on Sunday.

Diglett carried off the victory when outrunning nearest rival Stayloss in the concluding stages with the pair well in front of the rest of the field.

Diglett is a half-brother to the fine juvenile Black Mambazo (by Statue Of Liberty) who won last season's Listed Premio Alberto Giubilo). Their dam, Rich Gift, finished third in the Listed Flying Fillies Stakes, and has foaled two other winners.

One Cool Cat's other four winners to date have been
Cool Tarifa,
Baycat,
Smokey Storm and
Mister Ghiaccio.

One Cool Cat commenced stud duties in Ireland and New Zealand in 2005.

He stands again at Cambridge Stud in 2008 at a service fee of $15,000.

One Cool Cat himself was:

* Dual Group 1 winning juvenile

* Champion European 3YO Sprinter

* Son of champion sire Storm Cat

* US$3.1 million Keeneland yearling
