Flood of applications means FULL BOOK sign out for Tavistock

Cambridge Stud has been inundated with applications for bookings to Tavistock; in fact long-time stud office manager Margaret Fife received 50 yesterday alone!

The extraordinary amount of sudden interest in Tavistock has come off the back of a remarkable weekend where he sired the winner of both the Bonecrusher Stakes-Gr.3 (Volkstok'n'barrell) and Soliloquy Stakes-LR (Avisto) at Ellerslie.

What's more, Tavistock sired his first Group Performer in Australia the same day with Diamond Valores finishing second in the Group Three Gloaming Stakes at Rosehill Gardens.

Tavistock clearly leads the New Zealand Second Season Sires Premiership.

His book is officially closed and while final numbers haven't been confirmed, Margaret Fife said Tavistock will be "very busy".
