Flying start to new season for Keeper

Cambridge Stud’s proven Danehill sire-son Keeper has made a flying start to the new racing season having sired six individual winners in New Zealand from the first two weeks of racing.

 

Keeper is currently New Zealand’s Leading Sire by Winners and second on the New Zealand Stallion Premiership (prize money won).

 

For the record, Keeper’s six individual winners at home are Edward Cheval (Te Aroha, 10 August), Splitfire (Ruakaka, 04 August), Currency Spike (Stratford, 02 August), So Keep Me (Te Aroha, 10 August), The Arrow Keeper (Ruakaka, 03 August) and You’ll Keep (Te Awamutu, 15 August).

 

Keeper has had a stakes-performer in the first two weeks of the domestic season with Innovation being placed second in the Group 3 CJC Winter Cup at Riccarton Park, August 4.
