Galileo & sire-sons on fire in Northern Hemisphere

30 Jun 2013

Galileo and two of his young gun sire-sons, New Approach and Teofilo, have been chalking up Group One successes at a great rate in England, Ireland and France of late.  This is great news for Cambridge Stud as they stand Galileo’s five time Gr.1-winning son, Cape Blanco.

Galileo has sired 4 individual Group One winners since the start of 2013 and currently leads the Great Britain General Sires’ Premiership.  New Approach, who has oldest progeny 3YOs, has sired 2 individual Group One winners during 2013 and sits in second placing (behind Galileo) on the GB General Sires’ Premiership while he clearly leads the GB Second Season Sires List.  Meanwhile Teofilo, who has oldest progeny 4YOs, has also sired 2 individual Group One winners this calendar year and currently leads the Ireland General Sires’ Premiership.
