The Group Three-winning race mare Glamorous Girl produced a Fastnet Rock colt at Cambridge Stud yesterday.
It is the first foal for Glamorous Girl (Thorn Park ex J’Lo, by Unbridled’s Song) who was trained by Roger James to win the Desert Gold Stakes-Gr.3 (1600m) at Trentham Gardens. She was also placed second in the Sir Tristram Fillies Classic-Gr.2 (2000m) and ARC Soliloquy Stakes-LR (1400m).
Sir Patrick and Justine, Lady Hogan purchased Glamorous Girl at last year’s New Zealand Bloodstock May Sale for $180,000. She had a couple more race starts before being sent to Coolmore Stud in NSW for her mating with Champion Sire Fastnet Rock.
Glamorous Girl is a half-sister to So Elusive (Elusive City), the winner of 7 races including the Listed Pegasus Sprint at Riccarton Park.
