Hallie's Comet Stars For One Cool Cat

Stakes performer
Hallie's Comet became the 19th individual winner sired by One Cool Cat when she broke through for her first win at Naas on Sunday.

At her previous start Hallie's Comet had been placed third in the Group 3 Curragh Park Stakes so her win in this maiden event was not at all surprising.

Hallie's Comet is the third winner out of the Pleasant Tap mare, Secretariat's Tap, who in turn was one of five successful off-spring produced by Secretariat's Fire, who is also the grand-dam of the stakes-placed Kindling.

The third dam, Prospector's Fire (Mr Prospector), is the dam of the Group 1 Sprint Cup winner, Dowsing, as well as the dam of the Listed Doncaster Mile winner Airport, and the Group 1 Beverley D Stakes winner, Fire The Groom, as reported in the
European Bloodstock News.

The latter is the dam of the brilliant Group 1 July Cup and Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes winner, Stravinsky (sire). Stravinsky, like One Cool Cat, has stood at Cambridge Stud.

Secretariat's Tap has a yearling full brother to Hallie's Comet and a filly foal by Oratorio.

One Cool Cat's oldest progeny are two year olds in both hemispheres.

In the Northern Hemisphere he has sired 19 individual winners - including five stakes winners and a further three stakes placed horses.
