18 Mar 2008

Tactic King (Zabeel x Afleet Floozie) showed his class with an authoritative win at the Happy Valley race-meeting in Hong Kong on Wednesday night.

Tactic King was bred by Cambridge Stud's Sir Patrick and Lady Justine Hogan and was sold at the 2003 New Zealand Bloodstock Premier Yearling Sales at Karaka for $250,000 to Rogerson Bloodstock.

His latest win was scored in a $HK780,000 event for class three horses.

Zabeel (by Sir Tristram), who stands again this spring at Cambridge Stud, is the leading New Zealand-based stallion in Australia this season where his progeny earnings have topped $5 million. His leading earner in Australia this season has been Efficient who won the 2007 Melbourne Cup.
