Karaka Premier Sale graduate
Hips Don't Lie retained her unbeaten record on Saturday with a strong win in the $100,000 Listed Talindert Stakes (1100m) at Flemington.

The two-year-old daughter of Stravinsky edged out Flying Spur filly Okaylah by just a short half-head to make it three wins from three outings.

A $200,000 purchase at the 2007 Premier Sale by James Bester Bloodstock, Hips Don't Lie is raced by a syndicate of owners which includes Bester. Trained by David Hayes, the filly won by 5 & 1/4 lengths over 1000m at Morphettville on debut and then won the Listed Herald Sun Sprint (1000m) at Flemington by 1 & 1/4 lengths on Melbourne Cup day.

Bred in partnership by Trelawney Stud and Whakanui Stud, Hips Don't Lie is from the Centaine mare Procure, herself a winner over 1200m.

Entered in the 2008 Karaka Million but held out by import restrictions currently in place, Hips Don't Lie will head to the $1 million Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield on 23 February.

Stravinsky has stood at Cambridge Stud, New Zealand.
