Almanzor's first Northern Hemisphere yearlings made a strong start on day one of Arqana's Deauville Select Sale in France.
All seven of Almanzor's progeny sold with lot 101, a colt offered by Ecurie des Monceaux, fetching the highest price of €280,000 (NZ$495,000).
The top priced colt is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Miss Temple City and was signed for by Mick Kinane on behalf of the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
"It's a new one for us being by a first-season sire," Kinane told the Racing Post.
"I loved Almanzor as a racehorse and I saw him in the flesh a few times. I won't be surprised if he’s a good stallion. This colt is a lovely model."
Almanzor's second highest price was also registered by Ecurie des Monceaux when Al Shaqab Racing went to €150,000 (NZ$265,000) for a colt out of Eversmile.
Almanzor, whose first Southern Hemisphere yearlings sell in 2021, has a further 18 lots to be offered over the remaining two days of the sale.
