Group 1 winning Keeper three-year-old filly
Insouciant will have her next start in the Group 3 $80,000 Ezibuy Eulogy Stakes (1600m) at Awapuni on Saturday December 15.
Pencarrow Stud bred-and-owned Insouciant had a freshen up following her return home from Riccaton where she achieved the ultimate of Group 1 success in the New Zealand Bloodstock 1000 Guineas (1600m).
Matamata trainer Mark Walker said Insouciant looks bright and is now back in full work.
"She will have an exhibition gallop between races at the Matamata race meeting on December 6 and then go to the Eulogy Stakes," Walker said.
Following the Eulogy Stakes Insouciant will contest the Group 2 $125,000 Eight Carat Classic (1600m) at Ellerslie on December 26.
Then she will head to Trentham to run in the Group 3 $100,000 Desert Gold Stakes (1600m) at Trentham on January 26.
