Experienced Yearling Staff.

We prepare over 50 yearlings each year at all sales across Australasia, our main sale being NZB Book 1 at Karaka. We have opportunities for experienced staff to join our yearling preparation.

Yearling preparation commences from late September through until the end of January.

We are searching for experienced staff only. A minimum of two years’ work experience with yearlings is required. Must be confident with colts and fillies. Attractive salary packages are offered for the right candidates.

Job description:
General care of yearlings.
Assisting the vet and farrier with procedures.
Parading on the farm and at the sales.
Grooming and hand walking.

Modern accommodation with amenities such as a staff gym are available onsite. We provide cooked breakfast each morning in our staff canteen.

Broodmare Division

We foal down over 250 mares yearly and process over 300 mares during the breeding season. We have opportunities for experienced staff to join our broodmare division.

Job description:
General care of mare and foals
Assisting the vet and farrier with procedures
Administering treatments
Teasing mares
Assisting with covers and foaling when required
Walking mares to and from the crushes

Broodmare division roles would commence from early September 2024 through until the end of January 2025.

We are searching for experienced staff only. A minimum of two years of experience on a stud farm with thoroughbreds is required. An attractive salary package will be offered to the right candidates.
