Keeper 3YOs Continue Great Run

It has been an outstanding season for Keeper three-year-olds this season and this was contiued on Saturday when
Bewildered (Keeper x Kharlie Princess) scored narrowly in the Speight's 1200 at the Ellerslie meeting.


Keeper is the leading sire of three-year-olds in New Zealand for the 2007/08 season. Star performers for the son of Danehill during 2007/08 have included the Gr. 1 winners, Insouciant and Keepa Cruisin.


Keepa Cruisin is the leading performer in terms of stakes for Keeper with her earnings this season amounting to $335,350.


Keeper has had 30 individual runners of this season and has been represented by 15 individual winners.


In his stud career to date Keeper has had 73 individual winners - including 5 individual stakes winners.


Bewildered was ridden by Andrew Calder and is trained by Graeme Rogerson and Garry Newham at Tuhikaramea.


Bewildered has put together a very useful record in her racing career to date. From only five starts she has won twice and recorded three minor placings. As such she has not yet failed to weigh in.
