Keeper again in the leading bunch

Proven stallion Keeper has been a top six sire on the New Zealand Premiership for the past four seasons straight and judging by the start he has made to the new term, a top-end position again looks likely by season’s end.

Right now, according to figures provided by Arion Pedigrees, Keeper is third on the NZ Premiership for Earnings; third on that list for individual winners (12) and second for races won (15).

Last Saturday Keeper landed further black type success with his daughter Innovation (ex Miss Grosvenor, by Grosvenor) taking out the Listed Matamata Cup (1600m), providing her young rider Alex Forbes with his first stakes success.

It was the third Listed Race win for Innovation who won the Tauranga Classic (1400m) in June of last year and the Wanganui Challenge Stakes (1600m) in June of this year.

Keeper is one of six stallions standing at Cambridge Stud.
His service fee for the current season is $12,500 + gst (LFG).
