Keeper has claims to three Premiership titles

With the last four days of the 2013/2014 Racing Season about to unfold, Cambridge Stud's proven horse Keeper is looking a strong chance to secure three separate categories of the NZ Stallion Premiership standings.

Keeper leads the 'Winners' category having sired 59 individual winners in New Zealand alone this season.  That's five more than the second horse on the list, O'Reilly and ten more than the third-placed Pins.

With racing still to come this week at Dunedin (today), Rotorua (Wednesday) and Waverley (Friday), Keeper could well land the 'Wins' category.  Right now his progeny have won 82 races in NZ this season; that's just one short of the leading tally of 83 held by O'Reilly.

The other cagegory which Keeper is in the running for is that of 'Leading 3YO Sire for Winners'.  Currently he shares the lead in the standings with O'Reilly, with both stallions having sired 18 individual three-year-old winners so far this season.

Keeper's service fee has been set for 2014 at $8,000 + gst.  The fee is not payable until 30 June 2015 and the contract includes a live foal guarantee.
