Keeper joint-leader for winners

Keeper is currently the joint-leader for individual winners in New Zealand so far this season, with 7 already chalked up during the first month of racing.

 

His latest winner came yesterday at Te Teko when Soirette (Keeper ex Dana Zeel, by Danasinga) won a 1400m Maiden for trainer Shaune Ritchie.

 

Keeper is second on the list for wins and third on the Stallion Premiership for earnings so far this season.

 

A Group One-winning son of Danehill, Keeper is consistently in the top ten of New Zealand stallions on the domestic premiership, evidenced by the following snapshot

 

2012: 6th

2011: 3rd

2010: 6th

2009: 10th

2008: 5th

 

For the record, Keeper is the sire of 232 individual winners worldwide.  He has 23 individual black type winners, 6 of which have been successful at Group One level.
