Keeper is Hong Kong’s joint leader (with Encosta de Lago) in the General Sires by Winners for the current season according to figures provided by Arion Pedigrees (www.arion.co.nz).
Keeper has had 22 runners out for 11 individual winners, placing him equal with Encosta de Lago and ahead of some big names including Danehill Dancer, Flying Spur, O’Reilly and Fastnet Rock.
Keeper’s Hong Kong progeny have won 14 races so far this season with Keep the Spirit (ex Way Leggo, by Kaapstad) his best earner with 3 wins this term & HK$1,480,000 in prize money.
For the record, Keeper has had a total of 31 runners in Hong Kong in all and his strike-rate is excellent; 24 being winners.
