Keeper has rocketed into the leading position on the New Zealand Stallion Premiership following a steady run of winners, coupled with Move Faster’s excellent winning performance in yesterday’s Listed Wanganui Guineas.

Keeper’s progeny has not only won more prize money than any other NZ stallion so far this season, but leads the way for individual winners (13) and wins.

Move Faster (Keeper ex Justa Tad, by Istidaad) had been a black type winner for his sire last season, taking out the Listed Ryder Stakes at Otaki at the end of July.

Move Faster was bred to be good being a son of NZ’s Champion 3YO Filly of 2005, Justa Tad.
Her 3YO year saw her win both the NZ 1000 Guineas-Gr.1 and NZ Oaks-Gr.1 as well as the Eulogy Stakes-Gr.3 & Lowland Stakes-Gr.3.

Another son of Justa Tad, Tohunga, has looked promising from the stable of Gai Waterhouse.
The now 4YO son of Zabeel was fourth in last season’s Queensland Derby-Gr.1 and looks an exiting staying prospect.
