The Group One-winning performance by Keep the Peace in last Saturday’s Mudgway Partsworld Stakes (1400m) at Hastings has seen her sire, Keeper, rocket to the lead in the New Zealand Stallion Premiership (‘Grosvenor Award’).

With less than a month of the new season completed, Keeper has already been represented by 9 individual winners in this country.  His progeny earnings amount to $200,925 which sees him more than $100,000 clear of his nearest rival, Yamanin Vital.

While Keeper holds the lead in the domestic premiership, fellow Cambridge Stud stallion Zabeel is already on top in both The Dewar Award (Australasian Premiership) and The Centaine Award (Global Premiership).
