The Lisa Latta-trained Platinum Princess (Keeper ex Merle Park, by Machiavellian) won her most important race yesterday taking out the Group Two Coupland’s Bakeries Mile at Riccarton Park.
Bred by Dick Karreman’s The Oaks Stud in Cambridge, Platinum Princess was an $115,000 buy at the 2008 Karaka Select Sale and has now won 7 races and $262,438 in prize money.
Keeper is now the sire of 13 individual Group Race winners and 21 individual black type winners in all. The sire is currently covering his 10th book of mares at Cambridge Stud where he began his stud career in 2002.
