Keeper reaches 20 NZ winners

14 Oct 2012

Keeper chalked up his 20th individual New Zealand winner this season when Conserves La Foi scored at the Waimate meeting today.

Keeper is a clear leader on the NZ Stallion Premiership for Winners and Wins and sits in second position on the General Premiership.

Conserves La Foi (Keeper ex Superior Miss, by Bassenthwaite) was bred and is raced by Judge John Clapham, who also bred the dual Group One-winning Second Coming (by Oak Ridge) from the mare.  The latter not only won the Victoria Derby-Gr.1 and Wellington Cup-Gr.1, but also placed third in the Melbourne Cup-Gr.1.

Judge Clapham has had great success with this family, having also bred Intercept (Patron’s Bowl, Sgp-1) and Cellarmaster (ARC Eclipse Stakes-Gr.3).
