The progeny of Cambridge Stud stallion Keeper (Danehill) performed with great distinction over the past week, chalking up 4 winners in New Zealand and another 3 in Hong Kong.

What's more the winning week was headlined with a new stakes-winner, with Jacquetta (ex Henriette, by Pins) taking out the $50,000 Listed Welcome Stakes (1000m) at Riccarton Park last Saturday.

Keeper actually sired a trio of winners at Riccarton Park two days ago; apart from Jacquetta, there was also Zah Girl (ex Satin Pillows, by Dumaani) who won a $40,000 Rating 75 over 1600m and Locket (ex Equity Rose, by Paris House) who won a $40,000 Rating 85 over 1800m.

Keeper is currently fourth on the NZ General Sires Premiership (behind Iffraaj, O'Reilly and Darci Brahma) and leads the list for both individual winners (22) and races won (28).

The winning treble of winners for Keeper in Hong Kong came via St Yazin (ex Sometimes, by Montjeu) over 1000m last Wednesday, Invictus (ex Heavenly Trail, by Godswalk) over 1650 at the same meeting and Beauty Journey (ex Inshelucky, by Volksraad), who was successful at Sha Tin on Saturday over 1400m.

Keeper is currently third on the 2015 Hong Kong Stallion Premiership, equal first (with Exceed and Excel) for individual winners (6) and second on the list for races won.

FOOTNOTE

Super Sire Zabeel clocked up stakes-winner number 154 on Saturday when Zabisco (ex Arthena, by Desert Sun) won the Eclipse Stakes-Gr.3 at Sandown.  Four two-year-olds by Zabeel will be offered at this week's New Zealand Bloodstock Ready To Run Sale at Karaka.
