The progeny of Keeper won 3 of the 8 races carded at Hong Kong’s Happy Valley racecourse last night.
Cheerful Double, Baitiwu and Bouncer were the respective winners for Keeper, capping off a fantastic day for the sire with Platinum Princess winning the Gr.2 Coupland’s Bakeries Mile in NZ on the same day.
Cheerful Double (Keeper ex Impassion), bred by The Oaks Stud, won the Class 5 San Francisco Handicap over 2200m. Baitiwu (Keeper ex Healy Ridge) took out the Class 4 Los Angeles Handicap over 1650m. The 5YO won two trials in NZ before heading to Hong Kong. Bouncer (Keeper ex Startling Lady) is another bred by The Oaks Stud and is a half-brother to the Brisbane Cup winner Crossthestart. His win in the Boston Handicap (C3, 1650m) was his seventh success.
