Keepin' The Dream (Keeper x Irish Nassie by Nassipour) has finished second in the Group 3 Newcastle Gold Cup (2300m) at Newcastle in Australia on Thursday.
Jim and Greg Lee-trained Keepin' The Dream, a four-year-old, was bred by Mrs Margaret Watson who also bred the last-start Listed race winner Keeper Special.
Keepin' The Dream was part of a New Zealand-bred quinella in the Newcastle Cup with the winner being Bianca.
It was the second time Keepin' The Dream had had to play second fiddle to Bianca. At their previous clash Keepin' The Dream was runner-up behind Bianca in the Wyong Cup.
Keepin' The Dream is lightly raced with the Newcastle Cup only his 15th race-day start.
