For the 28th consecutive year, Cambridge Stud is the leading vendor (by aggregate) at the New Zealand Premier Yearling Sales.
The two-day Premier Sale on Monday and Tuesday this week resulted in Cambridge Stud selling $10,432,500 worth of bloodstock. This was the total achieved by 52 yearlings sold by Sir Patrick and Lady Justine Hogan's draft.
The highest priced yearling sold by Cambridge Stud this year was Stravinsky x Diamond Smile filly which fetched $775,000 and was purchased by Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock.
Cambridge Stud's second highest-priced lot was the Encosta de Lago x Wyndam Special colt (below) sold for $750,000 to Te Akau Stud's David Ellis.
The Stravinsky x Ana Zeel filly was bought for $600,000 by Te Akau Stud's David Ellis.
