She’s Alight has continued her quick march through the grades with further success at Ascot on Saturday.

The four-year-old daughter of Tavistock’s latest success came at her first attempt over 1600 metres.

Trained by Alan Mathews, She’s Alight has now won four times this year and five overall from just 13 starts.

The mare was bought out of Cambridge Stud’s Karaka draft in 2017 by agent John Chalmers for $65,000.

She is a daughter of the Keeper mare She’s Alight who won twice.

A three-quarter sister to the Gr.1 NZ 2000 Guineas winner Danske, the dam has also produced the stakes performer by Tavistock, Midnitemagicman.

She’s Alight is a direct descendant of the multiple Group One winner Tudor Light.
