Cambridge Stud’s utterly-proven stallion Stravinsky has reached a special milestone in recent days, clocking up his 800th individual winner.
Few stallions of his age (16) anywhere in the world can match Stravinsky’s record of individual winners and the success is spread across no less than 30 countries.
Stravinsky’s best result for individual winners has occurred in Australia, with 203 winners. He’s also had 141 in New Zealand, 138 in Japan and 133 in America.
For good measure, Stravinsky sired his 72nd black type winners yesterday when Mae Jinx (ex Gondolin, by Zabeel) won the Eclipse Stakes-LR (1200m) at Wingatui.
