Artic Wolf became the 26th individual stakeswinner for his sire Keeper when taking out last Saturday's Phoenix Park 2YO Classic-Gr.3 (1200m) at New Plymouth.

Prepared by Leo Molloy and ridden by Mark Hills, Artic Wolf got home in a tight finish to edge out Duey (by Guillotine).

Artic Wolf is a three-quarter brother to Keep The Peace, one of Keeper's six Group One winners.  Trained by Shaune Ritchie, Keep The Peace notched a trio of Group One victories, namely the New Zealand Oaks, Mudgway Partsworld Stakes and Otaki WFA Stakes.

A top six sire on the New Zealand Stallion Premiership for the past four seasons, Keeper is having another solid season and is currently fifth on the Premiership for individual winners (32).
