Cambridge Stud sire
Viking Ruler has been represented by a second stakes performer in the Northern Hemisphere.

Two-year-old colt
Measurement (Viking Ruler x El-Libaab) finished third in the Listed Stardom Stakes (1600m) at Goodwood on Saturday.

Measurement, trained by Richard Hannon, has won twice and not finished further back than fifth in his six career starts to date.

Viking Ruler's first stakes performer in the Northern Hemisphere was Romany Princess who finished third in the Listed Goodwood Aubigny Stakes.

In Australasia he has had four individual stakes performers headed by the Group 2 ARC Lexus Championship Stkaes winner Red Ruler, who was also runner-up in the Group 1 Australian Derby in Sydney last autumn.

Viking Ruler has had 33 individual winners to date spread across seven different countries.               (
