Gerry Harvey’s homebred mare Zauberin (Zabeel ex Zali, by Danehill) became her sire’s 137
th individual black type winner when successful in yesterday’s SAJC Tokyo City Cup-LR.
The six-year-old mare has a huge pedigree with her dam being a sister or half-sister to seven stakes-performers including the Group Three-winning Murtajill.
Zauberin has now won 4 of her 28 starts for prize money of A$218,918.
She had previously been stakes placed in the SAJC Port Adelaide Cup-LR and Bendigo Cup-LR.
