Niffler adds to burgeoning record

Niffler adds to burgeoning record4 Jun 2022

The Chris Waller-trained Niffler continued her impressive march through the grades in Sydney with a hollow victory over 1400 metres at Rosehill.

The Sir Patrick and Lady Hogan-bred daughter of Tavistock has now won four of her eight starts and has yet to finish out of the money.

Niffler was quickly into stride and enjoyed a cosy run in the trail and when jockey Jason Collett asked her for a serious effort in the straight she surged clear to score with easy by 2.6l.

She was bought out of our 2019 New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sale draft for $200,000 by bloodstock agent Guy Mulcaster for Debbie Kepitis’ Woppitt Bloodstock and is a daughter of the G3 Desert Gold Stakes winner Glamorous Girl, whose seven foals to race have all been successful.

We have retained Glamorous Girl’s juvenile colt Jackman, a son of Tavistock, and sold her yearling filly by Eminent sold at Karaka for $16,000 and the mare visited Embellish last year.
