Our Tristabelle pounces late

Our Tristabelle pounces late19 Nov 2022

Our Tristabelle weaved her way through the middle of a capacity field under Craig Zackey to seal a narrow but well deserved victory at Pukekohe.

The Peter and Dawn Williams trainee needed every inch of the 1600 metres to deny our mare Iffin Doubt Dance and fellow Cambridge Stud graduate Hot Salsa by a short neck and half-head.

The four-year-old daughter of Tavistock added further value to her future broodmare residual with the second win of her career. She has prove to be a wise investment by Ashley Collins' Platinum Thoroughbreds who purchased her from our draft as a yearling for $45,000.

Our Tristabelle is one of eight winners from eight to race for her dam Keep Alight and is a full sibling to stakes winner She's Alight and Listed performer Midnitemagicman - Little Island (H.K.). Keep Alight is a daughter of Keeper out of Gr.1 Australasian and South Australian Oaks winner Our Tristalight.

Keep Alight produced a filly by Embellish this spring and had a return visit to our Gr.1 winning son of Savabeel.
