Tavi Mac is trained by Allan Sharrock, who said he was a favourite around the stable.

“He’ll have a cult following soon this horse. He just wants to win.

“I’d love a stable full of horses like him, there’s no give up in him.”

Tavi Mac settled behind the pace on the fence and when clear in the straight he typically gave his best.

“He tries really hard. He’s not the biggest, but he is really tough,” winning jockey Hazel Schofer said,

The entire is raced by his the McCullum family, who are also co-breeders of the horse.

Tavi Mac is a son of the Maroof mare Bellaroof, who was successful on five occasions.
