Power filly Caricature added an international flavour when she won at Matamata on Friday.

In her second appearance following a debut fourth, the daughter of Cambridge Stud sire Power was successful in the Stable Books Maiden (1600m) in the hands of Leith Innes, who sported the colours of the global thoroughbred powerhouse the China Horse Club.

“She’s an improving filly and has showed a bit at home, she keeps getting better,” Tony Pike's stable representative Kade Ormsby said.

Caricature was a $380,000 Karaka purchase out of the 2017 draft of Cambridge Stud, who will offer her yearling half-brother (Lot 441) during the Book 1 Sale on January 28.
