Price strikes Tavistock double13 Oct 2019

Mick Price is a fan of Tavistock and the stallion further endeared himself to the Caulfield trainer at Cranbourne.
With training partner Michael Kent junior, he produced a winning double yesterday with sons of the Cambridge Stud resident.
The home-bred Boomstock started the ball rolling in fine style and his lead was later followed by Tavisan.
A $135,000 Karaka graduate, Tavisan is a son of the unraced Volksraad mare Evanescence.
The dam is out of a half-sister to the eight-time Group One winner Super Impose.
Tavisan was bred by The Sunlight Trust and posted his latest success with a bold front-running effort over 1000 metres.
The four-year-old has now won four times and last season produced a number of strong black type performances.
He was placed in the Gr.2 Danehill Stakes, the Gr.3 Caulfield Guineas and in the Listed McKenzie Stakes.
