The Cambridge Stud-sold five-year-old capped a hat-trick of wins following 1400 metres successes at Sandown and in the Echuca Cup before posting his first victory at 1600 metres.
The Ben and JD Hayes-trained son of Shocking was tardily away before picking up ground along the fence for rider Daniel Stackhouse.
They were short of room into the straight, but when a gap presented itself 200 metres from Here To Shock accelerated sharply to deliver his seventh win from 19 appearances.
“It’s a great thrill for the whole team. He was a touch slow, but Daniel got him in a great spot and the luck when he needed it,” stable representative Dom Rhoden said.
“There isn’t a great deal left for the horse now so it might be the time to reset for the spring.”
