Quality Tavistock Filly Born At Brighthill Farm

25 Aug 2011

Another of the first crop foals of Cambridge Stud’s dual Group One-winning horse Tavistock has been born at Brighthill Farm.

The filly is from Light Mozart, a mare bred in Great Britain by Danehill’s July Cup and Nunthorope Stakes-winning son, Mozart.  Light Mozart is from Footlight Fantasy (Nureyev), herself a daughter of the Group One-winning mare Milligram (Mill Reef).

Tavistock and the remainder of Cambridge Stud’s stallion roster will parade this Sunday at 2pm as part of the Waikato Branch of the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Annual Stallion Parade.  All are welcome at the farm this Sunday at 2pm to view Tavistock, Lucky Unicorn, Zabeel, Keeper and Stravinsky, who will have just arrived from Japan.
