Cambridge Stud graduate Tralee Rose is on the board following a deserved success at Warrnambool this afternoon.

The lightly-tried Tavistock mare came back from a break to post a runaway victory over 1700 metres.

Tralee Rose had finished in the money in all starts last preparation and was spelled after running fourth in the G2 SA Fillies’ Classic.

She is trained by Symon Wilde who, with Cameron Cooke Bloodstock, secured her at Karaka in 2018 for $50,000.

Tralee Rose is a daughter of the Zabeel mare Star of Tralee, who was a capable galloper.

She won two races and placed in the Listed New Zealand St Leger and was fourth in the G3 Manawatu Classic.

Her half-sister is Serenade Rose, the Group 1 winner of the Australian Oaks, VRC Oaks and the Arrowfield Stud Stakes.

Another prominent member if this family is the G1 Stradbroke Handicap winner Trekking.
