Significant day of Black Type Results for Stud1 Mar 2020

Probabeel spearheaded a flurry of significant black type results at the weekend for future members of Cambridge Stud’s broodmare band.

The top-class daughter of Savabeel’s Gr.1 Surround Stakes win at Randwick has skyrocketed her value for life after racing.

From a longer-term point of view, she isn’t the only one to be lifting their broodmare profiles.

Also in Australia, Dottie Dee gave a bold sight to finish runner-up in the Listed Cinderella Stakes at Morphettville.

The Brazen Beau two-year-old was on debut for Ciaron Maher and David Eustace. She was bred in New Zealand by Graham and Helen-Gaye Bax of Blandford Lodge and purchased by Cambridge Stud at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Stakes winner Pretty To Sea, by Ocean Park, added a Group Three placing in the King’s Plate to her record at Ellerslie.

That was also the venue for So You Think filly Meghan to earn black type for the first time. Successful twice from a handful of appearances, she finished a gallant third in the Gr.3 Sunline Vase.

All four fillies will be valuable additions to the Cambridge Stud broodmare band at the completion of their racing careers.
