New Approach, like Cape Blanco a son of Super Sire Galileo, currently leads Great Britain’s First Season Sire Premiership.

According to figures provided by Arion Pedigrees, New Approach is the sire of 8 individual first crop winners this season in Great Britain.  Collectively this group has won 12 races for prize money of 344,986 pound sterling, a figure which sees New Approach well clear of his closest first season rival, Raven’s Pass (by Elusive Quality).  Another son of Galileo, Sixties Icon, sits in fourth position on the First Season Sire Premiership.

New Approach has sired three individual juvenile black type winners including the Newmarket Dewhurst Stakes-Gr.1 winner, Dawn Approach.  He’s also the sire of Newfangled (Royal Ascot Albany Stakes-Gr.3) and Tha’ir (Royal Ascot Chesham Stakes-LR).

New Approach (Galileo ex Park Express, by Ahonoora) is a Darley horse and shuttles to Darley’s Victoria operation, Northwood Park.  His oldest Southern Hemisphere progeny have just turned two.
