Sparkling performance from Tavistock mare

23 Feb 2021

My Diamonds Galore has produced another gem of a performance to further her progression in Victoria.

The Cambridge Stud graduate made all the running at Sandown yesterday to score for trainer Michael Moroney. The well-related Tavistock 4-year-old has now been successful three times in her relatively brief career.

My Diamonds Galore was a $145,000 for Sunlight Thoroughbreds at Karaka in 2018.

She is out of the unraced O’Reilly mare Too Many Diamonds, also the dam of the G2 Rich Hill Mile winner Ruud Not Too. Too Many Diamonds is a half-sister to the G3 Red Anchor Stakes winner Royal Asscher and their dam Diamond Cashel was successful at Group 3 level. It is also the family of The All-Star Mile contender and this week’s G3 Vamos Stakes winner Still A Star.
