Chances are every buyer coming to Karaka this week and next will be hoping to head home with a yearling by Cambridge Stud's boom stallion Tavistock - and you could blame them?!
The young gun stallion has sired this season's Victoria Derby-Gr.1 winner Tarzino while another flag-bearer for Tavistock has been the unbeaten Hasselhoof.
A remarkable statistic about Tavistock is that despite having only three crops of racing age, he leads the New Zealand Stallion Premiership for individual winners.
