Spotlight on Karaka yearlings by Tavistock

17 Jan 2016

Chances are every buyer coming to Karaka this week and next will be hoping to head home with a yearling by Cambridge Stud's boom stallion Tavistock - and you could blame them?!

The young gun stallion has sired this season's Victoria Derby-Gr.1 winner Tarzino while another flag-bearer for Tavistock has been the unbeaten Hasselhoof.

A remarkable statistic about Tavistock is that despite having only three crops of racing age, he leads the New Zealand Stallion Premiership for individual winners.

Here is a snapshot of Tavistock's fourth crop offering at Karaka 2016
