Cambridge Stud’s proven trio of Keeper, Stravinsky and Zabeel all sired winners yesterday with Bar Keeper (Keeper) first home at Awapuni in NZ; Te Vinsky Code (Stravinsky) successful at Gosford in NSW and Colonial (Zabeel) on top at Port Augusta in South Australia.

Bar Keeper (Keeper ex Hangover Street, by Whiskey Road), who is prepared by Lisa Latta, is one of 4 winners from her dam, the best being My Hangover (5 wins and Group & Listed-placed).

Te Vinsky Code (Stravinsky ex Te Akau Princess, by Desert Prince) became the 788th individual winner for her sire when successful for trainer David Pfieffer at Gosford.

Colonial (Zabeel ex I’m in Heaven, by Volksraad) made it two wins from four starts when winning over 1850m at Port Augusta.  The 5YO gelding is a brother to Lights of Heaven; the Peter Moody-trained mare who won this year’s Brisbane Cup-Gr.2 and was successful at Group One level at three, winning the SAJC Schweppes Oaks.
