Sir Patrick and Justine, Lady Hogan enjoyed a breeding double through former Cambridge Stud stallion Stravinsky at Hastings on Sunday.
The Kevin Myers-trained Whipped was a narrow but impressive winner of the Rating 65 fillies and mares event, a race before the John Bary-trained Steppenwolf claimed a strong fresh-up win in the Rating 65 sprint.
The Hogans, who bred Steppenwolf in partnership with Graham, Helen-Gaye and Kylie Bax, remain in the ownership of the five-year-old.
