The
Stravinsky four-year-old Sun Trooper remained unbeaten in Hong Kong when scoring by a length-and-a-half in last night's Cricket Club Valley Handicap at Happy Valley.

It was a convincing performance by Sun Trooper who stopped the clock at 57.01 seconds for the 1000 metres.

Sun Trooper has won all five of his Hong Kong outings this calendar year and before that was a dual trial winner in New Zealand when prepared by Garry Hennessy at Matamata.  Hennessy purchased Sun Trooper from the consignment of Cambridge Stud at the 2006 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Premier Sale for $110,000.

His dam, Exotic Dancer is a winning mare by Slavic.  She is a half-sister to 9 winners, four of which are stakes-performers.  Her half-brother by Spectacular Love, Kingston Treasure, won the Sha Tin Vase (HK-2).  Before that, while racing in NZ as 'Able Attempt',he won the King's Plate-Gr.3 at Ellerslie and the Lightning Handicap-LR at Trentham.
