Stravinsky's Arrival Draws Closer

20 Sep 2009

Cambridge Stud reports that Stravinsky is now in

Melbourne
and is scheduled to arrive at Cambridge Stud on the 10th of October.

"His trip from

Japan
has required 60 days quarantine in

America
and a further 21 days in

Australia
," Sir Patrick Hogan told NZTM today.

"He arrived in

Melbourne
yesterday and the groom looking after him told me that he looks in great shape," added Sir Patrick.

Stravinsky is returning to Cambridge Stud after a shuttle absence of two years brought about by the Equine Influenza outbreak two years ago and quarantine complications last year.

Stravinsky has winners in 30 countries inclusive of 58 individual black type winners.  His book has been restricted to 100 mares at a fee of $35,000 plus gst.
