The results of this week's Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale saw Tavistock emerge as Australasia's third leading sire by Average.

Tavistock averaged A$226,667 - nearly twice that of the sales $115, 996 average.
Consigner Maluka Thoroughbred's was responsible for both his $310,000 top-selling filly and his $300,000 top colt.

Tavistock's top-selling filly (pictured) was bred by Sir Patrick & Lady Hogan and Peter Walker. She is out of the Octagonal mare Octapussy and was purchased by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock.

Alternatively, Tavistock's top-selling colt was bred by Sir Patrick & Lady Hogan and Dr Gene Tsoi. He is out of the O'Reilly mare Tricia'o and was purchased by Champion Thoroughbreds.
