Stud celebrates winning treble

Stud celebrates winning treble6 Oct 2020

Kahma Lass completed a grand day at Avondale for Cambridge Stud when she broke her maiden at her second appearance.

Trained by Jamie Richards, the filly produced a dominant display to win over 1200 metres.

She was runner-up on debut at Taupo earlier this month and had no trouble improving on that performance.

Kahma Lass was completing a treble for horses linked to the farm following the wins of Cambridge Stud graduates Sophisticardo and Our Modena earlier on the card.

Kahma Lass was a $290,000 Karaka purchase from the Curraghmore draft and is out of Distinctive Lass.

She won on three occasions and was stakes placed but has proved even better in the broodmare role.

Distinctive Lass has produced the multiple winners Distinctive Darci and Kuro, both successful at black type level.

The pedigree page also features the G1 Goodwood Handicap and G1 Karrakatta Plate winner Bomber Bill.
