The in-form Tannhauser has continued his international travels with a black-type victory in his new racing province.

The Cambridge Stud graduate is now based in Malaysia where he has quickly struck form for trainer Shane Edwards.

Tannhauser has won three times and most recently was successful in the Listed Charity Cup over 1400 metres under 60 kg.

He was originally purchased out fo Cambridge Stud’s draft at Karaka by Singapore trainer Michael Clements for $115,000.

The son of Tavistock won two of his three trials in NZ before joining Clements’ Kranji operation.

Tannhauser won five races in Singapore and is now asserting himself from another offshore environment.

Bred by Sir Patrick and Justine Lady Hogan, he is a son of the Group performed Entrepreneur mare Foxette, whose five foals to race have all been successful.

Foxette hails from the potent Group One family of Sovereign Red, Gurner’s Lane and Foxette.
